SRAM released the Rival groupset to compete with dependable and accurate Shimano Ultegra and Campaganolo Chorus groupsets and the Force groupset to compete with high-performance racing groupsets, Shimano Dura Ace and Campagnolo Record.
SRAM's lastest groupset, Red, was Tour-de-France-tested during the past few weeks, and Red is expected to be released to SRAM dealers in the Fall of 2007. Red is supposed to give Dura Ace a run for its money. (Campagnolo Record is still the leading choice for weight and performance.)
