OK, you've been talking about living in a cabin away from it all in the woods. But we all know that you can't even keep your pocket knife sharpened, no less build or repair a cabin. Here is the answer: Find some land, and then make sure that land is registered in a county that will permit you to drag and leave your new $100,000 gutted 747. (187 feet long x 20 feet wide = 3740 square feet = $26.73 per square foot = not bad at all.) Basically, with a bit of solar engineering, a well, and something to scare away the rodents, you are on your way to Walden. It is similar to, but a bit more glamorous than say, living in a shipping container with skylights and an electric guitar.
If it is a bad idea, for example, if you are an aeronautical engineer and you know something we don't know, such as the hulls are filled with radiation from it flying so close to the sun for years, please put up a post.
If anyone buys one of these, write me, and I will send you some peanuts and a deck of cards. No lie.
